Dr. Mathew Kanamala, who won Kerala State Youth Award for Best Social Worker in 2004, is currently working as the Head, Department of Social Work, St. Joseph’s College, Moolamattom and also as Honorary Guest Faculty member and Coordinator, Certificate Course in Counselling in the Department of Life Long Learning and Extension, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
He is the Director of Institute for Person Centred Approaches in India(IPCAI) established himself as a Charitable Trust for the development of children, disabled people and senior citizens. He is a Counselor, Career Coach and Motivational Speaker for the last 25 years.
He is doing Post Doctoral degree at Srinivas University, Mangalore and has Ph.D from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, in Dementia. His reserach works include more than 25 National & International piblications and paper presentations.
